I previously attended the Art Institute of Pittsburg, and later the International Academy of Design and Technology in Orlando. Both schools were more art centric than developer centric, and allowed me to focus on my skills as a 3d artist, a texture artist, and a animator.
I have developed a number of 3d scenes over the past 10 years, and have a preference for 3D Studios. Some of my work has been used commercially, or within print for the Game Development Essential line of books published by Delmar Learning, and written by Jeannie Novak.
Below are some samples of models which I have created recently.

An innovative project I had the pleasure to work on involved creating a virtual college environment inside second life, where students would learn common business practices by becoming employees to a fictitious game company - Oheia. To keep it interesting, they would have to solve clues throughout their six week course, with each week moving them to another department (floor) within the company. The entire second life game integrated tightly with a Moodle learning management system, which was hosted on a separate server. The two environments communicated with each other through HTTP web calls similar to how AJAX works in the web development world. To keep the students immersed, the Moodle LMS was disguised as a email communication and company intranet
